Combining soccer playing and poetry writing, America SCORES Chicago provides free after-school programming in schools on Chicago’s south and west sides. Its annual Inspired Art event invites local artists to submit works based on poems written throughout the school year by the organization’s Poet Athletes. I worked with designer Kevin Leonard to develop a campaign attracting artists, sponsors and event guests.
